So off I went on my quest and found www.quickcompare.co.uk. They were placed at the top of someones list so I thought to myself I must be onto a winner.
I thought it strange that their online form was extremely short and asked some questions that I really didn't expect to be asked. For example they didn't want to know what type of car i had, just what class it fell into i.e. small family car. They weren't interested in where I lived either, just what sort of area I lived in...
Anyway it soon came to light that I had completely wasted my time as after I had filled in this very strange car insurance form up came ANOTHER list of car insurance companies that suited my requirements!
Now I'm just an ordinary bloke and know well that any car insurance company will be able to offer me a policy online.
The point I suppose I am making, is shop around each site and get a quote rather than using these umbrella sites that claim to be able to get you cheaper car insurance.
Darren Weybrook - not happy.
