I took the cheapest quote immediately and clicked through to their website (was Swiftcover.com). I then filled in all the forms again to take out the policy. When I was filling out the form there was a clicking noise every 10 seconds or so going on in the background but I didn't know what it was and just carried on entering my details.
However just before I was about to press the button to say "Yes Mr Car Insurance Company I want that one " there was one more click followed by an error message on my screen. "Oh my god my computer has crashed" I thought to myself and started investigating into why.
Hmmm - Turns out that there was 36 browser windows from this companies car insurance website open on my desktop. This subsequently zapped all my computers memory and forced me to reboot!!
Obviously I was not happy and didn't go back there again, simply went back to Swiftcover.com.
Now I'm not mentioning any names here but we all know it is one of the three big sites. C'mon guys, there is no need for continual popup windows on any site let alone a car insurance website so please get your act together and sort it out!
