Originally produced in 2007, the Mazda CX7 is one of the manufacturers most popular cars. Although nowhere near the first one you think of when you look to get a mid-sized crossover SUV, it is one that you should really consider because it is reliable, relatively stylish and performs well on the road.
The Mazda CX7 comes with front wheel drive as standard, although you can opt for the four wheel drive version if you so wish. Obviously, the latter is perhaps the most desirable because there is no point having less than four wheel drive if you are investing in an SUV. However, you have other choices as well. There are 2.3L turbocharged I4, 2.5L I4 and 2.2L Diesel I4 engines available to choose from, all of which perform well and give you the power you are looking for.
The Mazda CX7 has undergone a 2010 facelift, although few of the specs have actually changed. The main point that has is the aesthetic appeal. It is more stylish and less boringly functional than its predecessor, with clean lines and a more spacious and well thought out interior. Not that there was not plenty of cargo space before. Now though, it will appeal to you inside and out!
The safety features incorporated into the Mazda CX7 as standard are also pretty comprehensive.
There is ABS, traction control, stability control and numerous airbags. This is actually a good thing given that it brings the insurance premiums expected for the Mazda CX7 down a little to group 14. You may be able to save money by comparing policies though. Use the form online at Powerseeker to obtain quotes from more than 90 leading providers in just a few minutes and you may be able to insure the Mazda CX7 for less than you thought.
Car Insurance quotes for the Mazda CX7: Third Party, Third Party Fire & Theft and Fully Comprehensive Policies
