We all know why womens car insurance was formulated and offered by a range of savvy insurers in the first place - because women were statistially safer drivers and were undoubtedly paying for the ills of men in the 1980s and 1990s. One prominant comparison site has released the results of a new study in the last week or so that proves that men are by far the worst offenders when it comes to speeding. The site identified the worst speeding offenders and areas in the UK. Swindon, Sheffield and most areas of Scotland ranked amongst the worst areas for offences but, more significantly, the entire list of top ten offenders in the UK was male. Yes, the top ten worst offenders were all men. Furthermore, no woman came anywhere near the top spot. As such, the availability of womens car insurance and cheap premiums will live on!
