I recently saw a survey of performance car drivers that spanned all ages and both genders. All of the participants were asked whether they understood their insurance policies or not and only a very small percentage of them said they knew it inside out. This is rather worrying because everyone should know what their performance car insurance policy covers them for. However, there is apparently one main barrier that prevents everyone understanding their own performance car insurance – the jargon!
Jargon is a major understanding barrier for consumers when it comes to dealing with the insurance industry. Too many insurers still use words that the average person does not understand and this jargon is absolutely useless to the average person. However, there are now some insurers that do explain everything in plain English for you so that you can understand. Getting a policy with these insurers can really help so why settle for anything else?
