Even Cheaper Home Insurance
Extra Cover : Home Contents InsuranceWhat is Extra Cover? If you own expensive personal items that you take out of your home on a more regular basis you will possibly require extra cover. Check your policies terms & conditions to see how much personal items are covered. For example on a standard policy, jewellery (watches etc) maybe covered away from home only up to the value of £500 per item. Perhaps you own a Rolex watch which is worth £3000. Providing you can prove you own such an item you will be able to take out extra cover for such items and be insured away from home accordingly. Other items you may want to consider insuring as extra cover are laptops and camera equipment. Obviously extra cover will increase your contents insurance premium but is well worth the money should you lose or accidently break your covered items Should you own a mobile phone, usually if it is a contract phone then your provider will automatically offer you insurance to cover it built into your monthly payment.
