The Yamaha XJ6 Diversion is a fun package, good looking, very easy to ride, comfortable and a machine fast enough to put a smile on your face. The engine comes from an FZ6 and has been re-designed and re-tuned with a fuel injection system. It has a 3-way catalytic converter with a new clutch and gearshift system. The power in the XJ6 is delivered with more bottom end grunt than the FZ6 which does make fun riding. Even though the power has been pushed down the rev range this thoroughbred is still desperate for you to open it up and boy does it respond well! Featuring a new tubular steel diamond type chassis, with slightly lower front forks, a narrow fuel tank and low riding position, the Yamaha XJ6 is extremely easy ride in town and through the lanes. The handlebars are adjustable too and the rear shock is adjustable - basically this bike is ideal for the short or the tall. ABS is an optional extra too for £300 more. Next comes the insurance where the Yamaha XJ6 is categorised in group 10. Not an expensive bike to insure considering the overall package you get.
