Suzuki GSXR1000 Bike Insurance Quotes
| Rating : | |
| New Price : | £ 9800 |
| Average Insurance Group 17 depending on the GSXR1000 model / modifications.
For a few hundred pounds under ten grand the new Suzuki GSXR1000 is not quite as well made or as quick as its Honda and Yamaha counterparts however that is not to say that the K9 GSXR1000 is a disappointment by any means. The Suzuki K9 GSXR1000 features a shorter stroke engine which is supposedly more tunable however is a few horsepower down on the older prestigious K5 model according to an individual test team. The power in the midrange has also been reduced so it can be treated harder with confidence on the throttle. The shorter stroke engine actually helps the grip on the rear tyres as does the Honda Fireblade. The GSXR1000 also features 3 way footpegs which are fully adjustable so all rider heights are catered for. The K9 has also reverted to a cable operated clutch from the previous hydraulic version. It has been given a new chassis, Showas lighter piston forks with an adjustable rear Showa shock absorber. The Suzuki engine is extremely reliable and will last longer than your pet dog so long as it is looked after. Its well built but not quite up there with the Yamaha and Honda equals. At group 17 the Suzuki GSXR1000 is at the higher end of the insurance market. Powerseeker can help you compare lots of motorbike insurance for the GSXR1000 by presenting you with lots of policies all from filling in one form online. You can then select the policy with the right level of cover or with the cheapest premium. |
