The Suzuki DR-Z400S is a tough bike which is built to last. It will happily plod on just about anywhere except the motorway which is asking a little too much! However you could probably ride it over the central reservation! The DR-Z400S is easily and cheaply serviceable while being ideal for the novice too as it is extremely easy to ride with not too much power. The handling is great at low speeds however when it speeds up you feel less and the bike can feel spongy and wallowing. The brakes are not the best either at high speeds but work fine at lower speeds. The paint on the frame comes away after a while pretty easily and it can look shabby quickly if not looked after. The plastic trims are cheap to replace which is a bonus through. Insurance for the Suzuki DR-Z400S is only rated at group 9 so it shounld not break the bank.
