They have a great reputation amongst consumers but they do not necessarily offer value for money. This is largely because their advertising budget is much larger than the average insurer and they have to pay for it somehow!

All of the above applies for individuals with a standard car, but it will not apply for those of you with a performance car. Performance cars are a whole different ball game!

The performance car insurance quotes that you get from mainstream companies will undoubtedly be far more expensive than those you would obtain from specialist companies that only offer performance car insurance. They tend to offer the best deals and the best policies overall.
