The Hyundai Amica is a car of many names - the Hyundai Atos and the Hyundai Atoz amongst them - but in the UK it is a city car that comes in a 3 door and 5 door hatchback style. Although the car has been around for quite some years now, having been introduced in 1997, it is becoming one of the more popular Hyundai models on the road today.
Unlike other makes and models of car, the Hyundai Amica is pretty straight forward to get. It is a typical city car in terms of its size, being incredibly compact and easy to manoeuvre. The body shape is a little strange and might not appeal to everyone but it does nothing to hinder the function of the car in any way.
The Hyundai Amica has a multi-point injection fuel system and a 5 speed manual transmission alongside the 1.0L I4 12V engine. Of course, this does not offer very much power, 53.6hp to be precise, and the acceleration rate is nothing to write home about either at 14.6 seconds to get from 0-60mph. However, the fuel economy is pretty good and the running costs are not all that high.
Speaking of running costs, the Hyundai Amica is in insurance group 3 or 4 and so is not all that expensive to run. However, you will need to check what is on offer before you take out a policy. You can compare quotes from more than 90 providers in one go at Powerseeker. Just take a few moments to fill in the form and you may be quite surprised at some of the quotes you get back.
Car Insurance quotes for the Hyundai Amica: Third Party, Third Party Fire & Theft and Fully Comprehensive Policies
