There are plenty of cars out there that have been marketed under different badges for quite some time and one of them in the Chevrolet Aveo. Released in 2002 initially, it has been marketed as a Daewoo, Suzuki and Pontiac, amongst others, but is being re-released in 2011 as a second generation Chevrolet Aveo. So what can it offer you? Read on to find out.
Available as a 4 door sedan or a 5 door hatchback, the Chevrolet Aveo is designed to be a fantastic little car with two engine options – the 1.4L Family 0 turbo I4 and the 1.8L Family 1 I4. Neither is sluggish or easy on the power, with the former and the latter both having 138hp. They have also been designed to have decent levels of fuel economy as well as low emissions so you literally get a greener option with a little power.
The Chevrolet Aveo was only revealed at the Paris Motor Show in 2010 so there is little information on it’s niggles and weaknesses. However, you have to say that the car looks great on paper.
If you do decide to invest in a Chevrolet Aveo then you need to start looking for cheap car insurance because it is not the cheapest car to get on the road.
